Everton FC set out to incorporate dedicated sensory spaces within Hill Dickinson Stadium that would go beyond standard accessibility provision. The aim was to create bespoke, thoughtfully designed environments that felt safe, controlled and inclusive, while also reflecting the club’s identity and sense of pride. To deliver this, Everton FC approached Creative Activity to design and install specialist multi-sensory environments that could seamlessly integrate into the stadium setting.

Creative Activity was delighted to work alongside St Gerard’s to design and install a bespoke, double-level soft play area that would give pupils opportunities they might not otherwise have access to - all within a safe, supportive environment.

Ballyoran Primary School is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and development of all its pupils, particularly those in the Foundation Stage. Recognising the importance of sensory regulation and movement in learning, the school sought to enhance its environment with a purposeful sensory space.

Working alongside Roisin McGuire, Learning Support Coordinator and Vice Principal at Ballyoran Primary School, Creative Activity collaborated to design and install a bespoke sensory circuit that would bring both fun and function to the school’s daily routine.

With a diverse pupil population, including those in specialist provisions, the school recognises the importance of supporting children with a wide range of sensory needs. To strengthen this support, the school partnered with Creative Activity to design and install two sensory rooms and a sensory circuit.

Creative Activity recently partnered with the Bronte Ward at the Bluestone Unit in Craigavon Hospital, Northern Ireland, to deliver a bespoke sensory room designed to support adults with mental health conditions. The sensory environment now plays a critical role in the ward's therapeutic offering, benefiting both patients and staff alike.

This first-of-its-kind solution provides a safe, immersive, and fully adaptable sensory experience, creating calming spaces for de-escalation, therapy, and emotional regulation without requiring permanent structural modifications—something that has not been available before in mental health settings.

Most recently, they’ve introduced sensory circuits in key areas of the school to further support this mission.

Creative Activity had the pleasure of working with Sacred Heart Boys National School in Dublin to deliver a brand-new bespoke Trim Trail for their outdoor space. With the sun shining and pupils already enjoying the equipment, the impact of the installation has been immediate and positive. This project highlights the power of purposeful outdoor play solutions—supporting both learning and wellbeing.
