    A new bespoke sensory room within Causeway Hospital’s Emergency Department is transforming the care experience for patients with additional needs. Designed to provide a calm and supportive alternative to the busy clinical environment of ED, the space features soothing lighting, calming projections, and carefully selected visual and tactile elements. More than just a sensory room, it functions as an operational clinical space where assessment, treatment and discharge can take place in a regulated and supportive setting.

    Case Study: Sensory Circuit at Ballyoran PS

    Ballyoran Primary School is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and development of all its pupils, particularly those in the Foundation Stage. Recognising the importance of sensory regulation and movement in learning, the school sought to enhance its environment with a purposeful sensory space.


    Working alongside Roisin McGuire, Learning Support Coordinator and Vice Principal at Ballyoran Primary School, Creative Activity collaborated to design and install a bespoke sensory circuit that would bring both fun and function to the school’s daily routine.
