Product Description

An example of a stick and hoop game played when the streets were a child’s domain.

Children need engaging, historically educational activities to connect with the past and understand historical changes. The metal hoop and stick game fulfils this need by offering an exciting way to explore Victorian street games.

Use this resource for outdoor educational activities to make history lessons more interactive and memorable. Playing with this replica provides a tangible connection to the past, encouraging active play while learning about history.

For Key Stage Two history, this game extends pupils' chronological knowledge beyond one thousand sixty-six, helping them understand how children in the past entertained themselves. This hands-on approach fosters a deeper appreciation of historical lifestyles and illustrates the evolution of leisure activities.
