It can be trundled around from place to place or become a construction set. Suitable for age 12 months and up.
An exquisitely made traditional wooden train that also serves as a stacking construction toy.

This wooden train not only delights children but also aligns with the educational goals set forth in the EYFS curriculum, promoting both cerebral and physical development. Constructed from robust Ash and Birch wood, finished with linseed oil for natural preservation, it offers a tactile learning experience.

Initially, the toy serves to enhance mathematical skills, enabling children to explore shapes and balance through stacking, which supports schematic understanding. Additionally, it aids in fostering fine motor skills by requiring precise movements for construction and deconstruction of the assembled train.

Moreover, engaging with this train set encourages imaginative play, supporting the expressive arts and design aspect of the EYFS curriculum. It affords children the freedom to invent stories and scenarios, thereby enriching their creative and narrative skills.
